Have an Inexpensive Dream Vacation In Puerto Vallarta!

(cont. from page 1) ...My rules for eating in Mexico are to make sure the place is frequented a lot by locals, there is a filter on the faucet or that they have filtered water and eat what is the featured item. No raw fruits or veggies unless you make sure that they were washed carefully. The market has good egg or pancake breakfasts upstairs. That runs about $3 per person. Time to roam the city for sightseeing. Vallarta is set at the base of a hill so it is difficult to get lost. There are many charming cobblestone roads just off the beaten path. The architecture is quaint and one could imagine that it is the 60's again and Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton are still living up from the market.

Puerto Vallarta Mexico: Inexpensive vacations are easy to arrange here.
Sunset from Playa Los Muertos, Old Vallarta

Back down at the Malecon you can head down to the Playa de los Muertos for sunning, swimming, or eating. If you sit at a table you are expected to buy some thing to eat or drink. I guess we will have to have a beer. This beach is where the locals go and is very colorful. The beach is very gay friendly especially towards the end of the beach. There are many beachside bars and restaurants that you can eat at some are very pricey and some are not. In the evening we walk the Malecon and sample delicious morsels from the vendors. Some of the delights that must be sampled are corn on the cob or in the cup.
